In October 2016 three members of PHSOtheFACTS had a meeting with two members of the MPS regarding cases of Misconduct in Public Office against PHSO staff members. On reading this quote from the recent Daniel Morgan report (June 2021) we decided to publish the recording made at the time as part of an historical archive.

Listen to the way DCS Michael Duthie uses distraction techniques every time our logical argument gets them in a corner. Or the way that DI Gail Granville repeatedly tells us to restructure our evidence to show them ‘who did what at what time to whom’ as if our complex cases could be reduced to the level of a Cluedo game. They hide behind the advice of anonymous ‘counsel’ saying that unfortunately their hands are tied. And through a lack of candour make it impossible for us to validate their account of the ‘deep dive’ into our evidence which they claim to have made. Despite offering continued dialogue, our cases were permanently closed after this meeting. It seems clear now that the MPS colluded with the PHSO to find a water-tight means to avoid all criminal scrutiny of the Ombudsman service by determining that Crown Servants were above the law.
You can listen for yourself on the audio link below (1 hour 21 mins) and bear in mind the findings of the Daniel Morgan report that MPS was and is ‘institutionally corrupt’. The only editing has been to remove third-party names. The meeting took place on 11th October 2016. Della Reynolds, Daphne Havercroft and David Czarnetzki represented PHSOtheFACTS who had previously submitted 32 cases of MIPO to the MPS for scrutiny.
You can read the meeting notes which were provided to the MPS here:
You can read the close down letter from DCS Michael Duthie here:
You can read the brutal rebuttal of all further pleas for investigation from Acting DCS Stuart Wratten here:
Well according the The Met they can only investigate if there is a breach of the Official Secrets Act or perjury. There was clear perjury in my case and still they refused. Not only that, but they didn’t even ask us for the evidence! They are totally corrupt, being part of the establishment, who of course all scratch one another’s backs. Only when something is made unavoidably public often through a Joe Public exposure, do they confess to failings with meaningless platitudes.

Given that such a senior person as Cressida Dick herself was found to have placed obstacles in the way of the Panel there is little to be optimistic about.
Paragraph 243 (page 1060) of The Report of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel states:
‘The Metropolitan Police’s lack of candour manifested itself in the hurdles placed in the path of the Panel, such as AC Cressida Dick’s initial refusal to recognise the necessity for the Panel to have access to HOLMES (the data system which provides safeguards for the integrity of investigations and also enables independent scrutiny to identify failures), as well as limiting access to the most sensitive information (which was not provided at the Panel’s secure premises and was only accessible at a location involving considerable travel time and precluding daily reference and crosschecking…’

Yes. The police are very good at obstructing the course of justice.

Another farce is ‘medical expert’ used by the solicitors, another scam which involves insurance companies, often representing (or shafting) both sides.

It’s difficult to hear, is it possible to enhance the sound?
Did they know you were recording?
I’d say its shocking, but we know it isn’t. Sorry state of affairs.

I challenge anyone to attempt to report to police an offence under Sections 20 to 25 Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015. Then compare your mistreatment by police, to the treatment stated as that we can all be assured in the Victims’ Code.

The police are part of the problem. It’s a giant cartel where they all support each other against the public. There is no route to justice.

I complain to phso regarding tactical misdiagnosis and poor care , I submitted a profoma and very specific irrefutable evidence but the PHSO and medical specialist lied and tactically protected the poor care and NHS , I never got any resolution or accountability and even after submitting my case to cps regarding misconduct in public office against PHSO staff I was told PHSO was unacceptable and my case is 26 yrs old and even as I submit new strong evidence the PHSO has said they still will not respond and my case in now historic
